Been slacking on the posting front lately… sorry for partying. Since the last time I posted we have been quite busy to say the least.
We had a great weekend in Indiana with friends and family. Boat Party on Lake Monroe brought back some fun memories from the college days. Loved surprising KP for his birthday. Still can’t believe he is 5!
After getting home late Sunday from our 6 hour road trip I woke up Monday morning to quite the lovely surprise.
Now it might sound strange to go buy a new car just because of a flat tire… but Greg and I have been talking about trading my car in for the last few months. Two all-wheel drive cars didn’t make sense so I went with something a bit bigger.
If you know me even just a little bit, then you would know I always have some odd medical issue going on. Last week I had 3 ingrown toenails surgically removed (gross… I know). So… this past weekend we took it pretty easy since walking was a bit painful.
We ventured out to the Saturday morning local farmer’s market for the first time and loved every minute of it. Sunday morning we put our party pants on and headed back to Greg’s hometown for his nephew’s 8th birthday party. They had the party at a neat little state park and we had beautiful weather all day. This weather really makes me want to make a pot of chili and watch football all day. Fall is the best time of year hands down and puts me in a great mood. Headed downtown on Sunday evening for the Colt’s/Steeler’s preseason game. I wore my blue and white and took quite a verbal beating from the lovely Steeler fans.Resting up this week because next weekend consists of more birthday parties and fantasy football drafts.
Until next time…
(I’ll leave you with a favorite pic of mine lately)
